• Pray that believers here will focus on Jesus, rather than on differences of emphasis, music, and church government.
  
  
• Ask for opportunities to get acquainted with brothers and sisters from other churches, that we might gain a larger vision of how God is moving in the Athens area.
  
  
• Pray that churches will realize they are not in competition with each other, but are on the same team.
  
  
• Pray that believers will be able to set aside past suspicions and petty squabbles, and instead love one another deeply, from the heart. (1 Peter 1:22)
  
  
• Ask God to give us grace to bear one another's burdens and build each other up in the faith.
  
  
• Pray that racial and ethnic barriers will be torn down by the power of the gospel.
  
  
• Pray that our pastors will come together to seek God for revival and awakening in the Athens area.
  
  
• Pray that growing unity in the Church of Greater Athens will accomplish exactly what the Father intends: that the world might know that Jesus is the Messiah sent from God. (John 17:23)
